Struggling with mental health challenges can feel like an endless cycle—one where effort doesn’t always lead to progress. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before but didn’t see the results you hoped for. Perhaps you feel stuck, despite your best efforts to move forward.
This isn’t about effort. If managing these challenges were simply about trying harder, you would have found relief by now. The issue isn’t motivation—it’s having the right strategy and evidence-based tools.
We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapies- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP)—research-backed methods that move beyond traditional talk therapy to create meaningful, lasting change for adults in Sudbury and surrounding areas. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, OCD, emotion regulation, PTSD, grief or relationship problems, we tailor evidence-based treatment to your needs.
Through individual therapy in Sudbury for adults, we’ll work together to move past stuck points, break unhelpful patterns, and take real steps toward the life you want to live.
Following a complimentary phone consultation, we’ll schedule your Intake Assessment. Using both clinical measures and scientific research combined with clinical expertise, we gain a comprehensive understanding of your context, symptoms, and challenges before developing a collaborative treatment plan.
You are the best consultant on you. We’ll work alongside you from the very beginning, describing our goals for your treatment and checking with you to see if it makes sense. Everyone is different, and treatment plans are tailored to each person, but they will be evidence-based, determined by your symptoms and diagnosis and what treatment approaches the literature says have good outcomes. In addition to OCD, anxiety and depression, our expertise includes specialized treatment for PTSD in Sudbury, grief counseling in Sudbury, and anger management in Sudbury. Length of treatment can vary depending on your preferences, symptom response, and treatment goals.
We work with adults experiencing:
“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress.”

I am an Out-of-Network (OON) provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement for therapy services. I can provide you with a superbill (a detailed invoice) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
If you’re unsure about your benefits, you can call your insurance provider and ask the following questions:
My session fees range from $200 to $400 depending on the length of service and the type of service. Typical fees are listed below:
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept [credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and other payment methods].
Under the No Surprises Act, by law, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost from providers who don’t bill insurance. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
We specialize in Third Wave (Mindfulness-Based) therapies for adults including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). We also provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety disorders. Our approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and customized to your unique needs.
Therapy is highly individualized. Some adults see improvement in a couple of months, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We will regularly assess progress and adjust our work accordingly.
The first session is a comprehensive intake where we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and therapy goals. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit.
Exposure therapy involves intentionally and gradually approaching situations or thoughts you’ve been avoiding, while practicing mindfulness and acceptance skills. Rather than fighting anxiety or fear, ACT-informed ERP helps you become more open to these difficult feelings, making choices guided by your personal values. While you might initially feel uncomfortable, you’ll learn to relate differently to anxiety, empowering you to move forward in ways that truly matter to you.
Most adults start with weekly sessions. Over time, depending on your progress and needs, we may shift to biweekly or less frequent check-ins.
